The Maryland Report Card highlights the Assessment data for both the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) and the High School Assesment (HSA). School progress, Annual Measurable Objectives (AMOs), and ESEA Flexibility, demographic, enrollment, attendance data, and other supporting facts are also reported.
Maryland instituted a new accountability system in 2012. This system consists of data on growth, gap reduction, and college readiness in addition to achievment to give more accurate picture of a school's performance and progress. This accountability system is used for recognition and to give support to identified schools.
