Mr. John Baugher, Principal -  Maryland State Principal of the year 2015.  Mr. Baugher attended Salisbury University where he earned a BS in History. He remained at Salisbury for one year as an assistant football coach, before coming to FSK as a teacher in 1991.  He went on to receive a MS degree in Administration from McDaniel College in Westminster. Prior to coming to back to FSK Mr. Baugher was an Assistant Principal at Winters Mill High School and during that time served on a wide range of county level committees. From 1991 to 2005 He was a Social Studies teacher at FSK. While at FSK as a teacher he coached Varsity, JV and Freshman Football, Tennis and Varsity Lacrosse. He had been a member of many committees including the Smaller Learning Communities, and the School Improvement Team as a teacher. He advised several clubs while he was at FSK. He along with others started the FSK Lacrosse program from scratch in 1994, which within three seasons became a full-fledged Varsity Program in 1996. He is involved with community organizations and is presently the President of the FSK Youth Lacrosse Program. 
Ms. Dougherty
Mrs. Christina Dougherty, Assistant Principal (11th & 12th Grades) - Mrs. Dougherty is married to Robert, an ’85 FSK grad and Mother to Robbie, FSK Class of 2025.  Mrs. Dougherty taught Social Studies at Westminster High School. She has administrative experience from WHS and Manchester Valley High School. She is a graduate of Delone Catholic High School, Towson University (State Senatorial Scholarship recipient) and McDaniel College. Mrs. Dougherty has a background in dance and was a Miss America Scholarship recipient representing York County, PA. She enjoys cooking, health and fitness, reading, music and family time at the beach.
 
Mrs. Lynn Kohr, Academic Facilitator -  Mrs. Kohr attended Western Maryland College and earned a BA in Biology. She continued on at WMC where she earned a teaching certificate and a Master of Liberal Arts (MLA).  She started teaching biology in 1990 at Liberty High School before moving to FSK in 2000.  She was the assistant and varsity coach for soccer and assistant coach for lacrosse at Liberty.  She has experience coaching women's soccer at McDaniel College for a number of years.  She has served on numerous county and school-based committees during her time at FSK. She is currently working to complete her certification in secondary school administration.  In her spare time, she trains for and runs marathons.  She is currently preparing for her fourth Marathon in the fall of 2010.

Mr. Speck

 
Mr. Stephen Speck, Administrator of Athletics & Facilities- A product of the Carroll County Public School system himself, Mr. Speck attended Towson University, where he earned a BS in Elementary Education. He also completed the Master’s program at McDaniel College and acquired his degree in Educational Administration. Mr. Speck spent the first 10 years of his career as a teacher at Linton Springs ES. He also served as both the Head Wrestling and Boys Tennis Coach at Century HS for over half a decade. Before coming to Key, Mr. Speck was the Athletic Director & Facilities Coordinator at Winters Mill HS. He is married to his wife, Susan, and they have a pair of boys together, named Compton and Chatham. Outside of the office, Mr. Speck is both a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter and trainer. He hopes to compete again one last time before the end of 2015, after which he will focus on helping others to develop in the sport. He is also the current Head Coach of the FSK Junior Eagles Wrestling program and could not be happier to be part of this community!
 

 

Mrs. Kimberly Stem, Assistant Principal (9th &10th Grades) - Mrs. Stem lives with her husband, Greg, and two cocker spaniels in Hanover, PA. She graduated with B.S. in Political Science and Mass Communications from Towson University and has an M.S. in Economics Education from Johns Hopkins University. She is certified to teach grades 5-12 in Social Studies, English and ESOL. She is also certified as an Administrator I. She taught Social Studies (and English at various times) for 15 years.   For the last 10 years she has been the Academic Facilitator at North Carroll High School. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, traveling (16 countries and 31 states), snorkeling, hanging by her pool or at the beach, riding wave runners and boating.  She is a Ravens, Orioles, and Terps fan.
