North Carroll High School is part of the Carroll County Public School System (double-click to access CCPS website). It is a comprehensive high school in the Hampstead area. Located on Panther Drive, it serves the north east community of Carroll County. It has a functional capacity of 1200 students and currently serves over 1600 students.  The opening of a new north east area high school, Manchester Valley High School, is expected to reduce enrollment in the 2009-2010 school year. The mascot is the panther, and the school colors are red, white, and black.

  • Parking Permits are on sale in the main office: Any Junior or Senior who wishes to drive and does not have an obligation will be sold a permit for $20.  You can fill out your permit in advance by printing the form here.

  • Tours & Donuts for Incoming 9th Graders will be offered on August 5th - there is no formal agenda for this 9AM to Noon opportunity, upperclassmen and administrators will be available to help students become comfortable with the building and their schedule.  See you then!

  • All North Carroll fall sports tryouts begin on August 16, 2008 except for golf & girls cross country. You must have a completed CCPS physical form to try out.  Physicals are available in the main office or online here.

    Once again…….You cannot try out without a completed CCPS Physical form……there are no exceptions!!!

  • Aaron Geiman, agricultural educator has been selected as the 2008 Maryland winner of the Ideas Unlimited award, given by the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE).
    The Ideas Unlimited Award is designed to give NAAE members an opportunity to exchange teaching ideas. Ideas are judged on their originality, practicality, adaptability to instruction, and instructional value.
    Geiman will compete against Ideas Unlimited award winners from surrounding states for the opportunity to be named the 2008 NAAE Ideas Unlimited award winner for Region VI. Regional winners will receive a cash award to attend the 2008 NAAE conference in Charlotte, N.C. The NAAE Ideas Unlimited Award program is sponsored by Thomson Delmar Learning.
    NAAE is the professional association for agricultural educators. The mission of NAAE is “professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy and service.” The NAAE office is located on the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington, KY.
