 Congratulations Ms. Lilly
Sharon Lilly, Assistant Principal at Oklahoma Road Middle School,
was named as the recipient of the
Rita Board Dowd Award for
Outstanding Carroll County School Administrators.
Ms. Lilly is dedicated to creating an environment that
engenders others to perform at their best.
She cares about her staff and her students and is
always there to listen and provide assistance.
She communicates well with staff and is
known as a “go-getter” who will work tirelessly to the
benefit of the students, staff, and community.
Ms. Lilly’s positive attitude easily uplifts students and teachers
as she greets them each day. Students and staff feel comfortable
coming to her for help solving a problem or with
any concerns they may have.
The Rita Board Dowd Award for Outstanding Carroll County School Administrators was created in memory of Rita Board Dowd,
who passed away in May 2009. Dowd taught biology and science at
North Carroll High School from 1997 to 2002.
She was a member of the faculty that opened
Winters Mill High School in 2002
and taught biology until her appointment
as assistant principal in 2006.
ORMS is lucky to have her!
